Many hours were spent by Ray Harris designing an constructing his last project.
He started his career at Downton Engineering Works, as a foreman mechanic, involved in preparing the early Mini's for BMC.
This resulted in many victories in all famous rally's worldwide.
Later Ray started his own company, Harris Engineering, constructing racing cars.
In his retirement he built the HR28, probably the only 3-wheeler in this configuration using the Goldwing engine.
